Today the Clairlea community celebrated Mme Speed's retirement. We wish her the best of luck and plenty of good wishes as she enters this new phase in her life. As a colleague and friend, I have learned so much from her and will miss her advice, her smile and her crackling sense of humour. What has impressed me most about Claire is her dedication to her kids and to her profession. May I strive to be as thorough and as thoughtful.
Below is the song, "Adieu Monsieur le Professeur" that Mme Volakhava, Mme Fahim, M Landry and myself sang to Mme Speed for her retirement accompanied by Mme Camara on djembe. We changed the words to Madame and sang wholeheartedly, (although perhaps a little out of tune :) ).
