Today's math problem! La soiree de curriculum!

Vous etes M McGilvray et Mme Harroun.  Vous avez 1000$ a depenser.  Il y a 300 personnes qui viendront ce soir.  150 personnes mangeront 2 hot dogs chacun, 1 chips et 1 boisson.  150 personnes mangeront 2 hot dogs halal chacun, 1 chips et 1 boisson.  Aurait-il assez d'argent pour acheter tout ce qu'il faudra pour la soiree de curriculum?

A Costco, les prix sont les suivants:

les hot dogs   20/15$
les hot dogs halal 20/20$
les boissons   24/9$
les chips  48/9$

English translation:
You are Mr. McGilvray and Mme Harroun.  You are in charge of buying all the food for tonight's curriculum night.  There are 300 people that are coming. 150 will eat 2 hot dogs each, 1 bag of chips and will have 1 drink each.  150 will eat 2 halal hot dogs, 1 bag of chips and 1 drink.  Will you have enough money to buy all that is needed?

You will purchase at Costco, here are their prices:

For those students who would like to attempt our math problem at home today, here is the information:

Tu es un professeur de 4/5e année.  Tu as eu 700$ pour dépenser tes besoins pour cette année scolaire.  Il y a 28 élèves dans ta classe.

Chaque élève doit avoir:
-2 crayons
-2 gommes à effacer
-un baton de colle
-un cahier
-un livre
-une boite de marqueurs

Il y a un pupitre et une chaise qui doivent être remplacer.
