Welcome back to our students from March Break! We are in the final leg of our year and we are excited and motivated to keep on learning while having a great time along the way!
We'd like to thank Ms. Kearns (Grade 8 English) for organizing Clairlea classes to have our own private screening of The Lorax on March 9th. We will be developping the theme of conservation in our own classrooms as it ties in to our current science unit on simple machines and the effects of machines in our daily lives, i.e. pollution, deforestation and global warming.
Some dates to look forward to in the month ahead:
Thursday, March 29 - Pizza Lunch
Friday, March 30 - Book Report due (separate parent letter will be sent home to explain this assignment)
