We chanted "Funga A La Feeya" (Welcome Chant from West Africa) to kick off the Clairlea African Heritage Assembly this afternoon with Mme. Gidaris's class. The children sang, and moved to the rhythm of the traditional call and response format of the song. Bravo les enfants! What fantastic singers we have!
